Colorful Equestrian Interiors

Usually equestrian rooms are monochromatic and serious. There is nothing wrong with that approach, and I must add that I tend to prefer it, but equestrian style can be colorful.  I especially like the idea pink for a little girl (or big girl) who loves all things horses AND feminine.  Take a look and see if you are not as inspired as I am by the varying hues of these spaces.

On this beautiful spring morning I can't help my obsession with lilacs!  They are my favorite flower.  Because I live in the desert, there are only a few weeks to enjoy these gorgeous flowers, so I make the most of it and practically bath in their beauty and fragrance.

Lilacs are such old-fashion flowers and that is one reason I find them so charming.  I think they work best in masses, but anyway you choose to display them you can't go wrong.  

Lovely Clusters Spring/Summer Catalog

It's Spring time, and that means that over on the Lovely Clusters website they've been gearing up to put out their seasonal catalog, full of lovely little curations comprised of handmade goodies and vintage items.  I am really excited about this year's Spring/Summer catalog, because it features a curation by yours truly!  That's right; there is a pretty little spread in there by Desert Girls Vintage!



I love all the items that are featured in our curation; especially that crocheted bracelet (also a favorite of Rebecca's) and that vintage picture of the soldier.  It was fun putting it together, too, what with all of the items to choose from!  So go on, go check out this year's  Lovely Clusters Spring/Summer 2012 catalog, and tell us what you think!
