I love a bold front door. I always have. I painted my front doors royal blue. I love it and it never fails to solicit a compliment. It is a great backdrop for photos and holiday wreaths. In Europe it is more common to have a boldly painted front door, and we Americans are just figuring it all out. Take a cue from these photos and grab a quart of paint!

Cape Cod blue and yellow? How happy!
Top 10 door colors via pinterest What a perfect shade of orange! My friend, Min, is very trusting and when I said that she should paint her front door yellow her response was, "Approved. When do we start." I love that! Looks pretty great, no? She did a great job! |
Oooh I LOOOVE the blue!! I painted our front door a bold shade of red a few weeks ago, and I couldn't believe how much of a difference it made to our house's curb appeal. Oh, and it doesn't show as much dirt which is always a bonus :)
ReplyDeleteThank you Jenny! I love a red door! You are right, it is amazing the difference a painted door makes. I will check out your blog:) Thanks again for your comment.

I like the emerald green door because it looks refreshing to me. I don't see a lot of houses with green doors, so that one really caught my attention. It’s great because not only it gives the door a cool appearance, but it enhances the beauty of the whole property as well.
