When Lori and I started this blog more than 3 years ago we decided to embrace the fact that we live in the desert. Back then it wasn't trendy or chic. Where we live we are close to areas that are very dry desert spots (like the Mojave desert) as well as more tropical resort locations like Palm Springs. There is something very beautiful about where we live and it's nice to see it more appreciated in current styles.

Today it is hot hot hot! As in 104 degrees, hot.

Beautiful pictures!! I hate the heat! Well, really I hate the humidity. It's horrible. I much prefer the cold weather. ha! I'm crazy.
