Am I Tired of Leopard Print Yet? I Think Not!

I know you have seen a lot of leopard in the past year or two but I can't help myself...I'm not tired of it quite yet.  Maybe I'll get my fill at some point but right now, give me more!

What do you think?  Are you sick of it yet or are you still rocking a bit of leopard?

Splurge Vs. Steal: Coffee Tables

I found the perfect coffee table on Apartment Therapy.
Perfection in Living Room Forn
Apartment Therapy
Of course it is a vintage piece, and I haven't found a knock off yet.  But I did see this coffee table on Restoration Hardware, to the tune of $2000.
Restoration Hardware
This is personally not my style, but maybe in the right space...
So why am I putting it here, if I have no interest in it?  Because I found it's twin on another site, for, oh, about $1700 less.  It just amazes me what you can find when you aren't even looking for it.  So even though neither of these tables would ever find their way into my living room, I still think they're worth showing.

Not the exact same, but pretty close, huh? Now, who wants to help me find that coffee table in the first picture?!  It's in the regency style, I think, with a can top.  I need it!
Hope you're having a great day!

Office Space Spruce-Up

For my birthday my mom generously gave me all the office supplies I had been hoping for by Nate Berkus for Target shop online.  We are packing for our summer vacation to Montana right now but I wanted to show you the progress thus far and my new accumulation of lovelies.

Photo: Tackling a little office spruce-up. Only one day left before we leave for Montana, but why not? #workspacefacelift #prettyofficetime

Gold office supplies from Nate Berkus for Target.
I will have more on this when I return home.

While I am in Montana (for the next two and a half weeks) I will get to share little lake-side wedding diy projects as I am rushing to complete them for a wedding July 19th.  I will do my best to post on a regular basis while I'm there!
Talk to you soon!

Anthropologie DIY

Ahhh, the wonders of spray paint.
A while back, I saw this cactus cookie jar and thought it would be a good addition to my collection of pieces for the hutch in my formal living room.  I've been on the hunt for white pieces to balance out the dark colors (navy walls, dark wood finish on the hutch).  But, alas, this was a $50 cookie jar originally, and I did not want to pay $50 (or even $28 when it went on sale).  I thought it would be a fun addition to the room, and a nice little nod to the desert we live in.

Anyway, I saw it, and I thought it was cute, but then I also remembered how cheap I have become, and besides, the pants I wanted were on sale for around $50, and they were awfully cute, so...
Well, the other day the Cat and I popped in to the Salvation Army and spied this little gem.

Hideous?  Maybe.  But I thought it would be just fine with a couple of coats of white spray paint.
And you know what?  I think I was right!

One of the only differences between the original $50 cookie jar and the one I paid $2.26 for is that mine only has one flower instead of 3.  Oh well!

I know it is not exact, but for less than $3, I think it is pretty good.
I love spray paint!

Happy 4th of July!

Happy Independence Day to all my American friends!  I hope you are all enjoying family time today like I am.  I love my country and I'm so grateful to live here.

Minor Obsession: Anthropologie Sale

Garden Buzz Serveware
I have an affinity for trays.  I seem to constantly be buying them.  And I like Anthropologie a whole lot too, so when you put the two together, well, you can imagine my delight.
When the Cat and I went to Santa Monica the other day, we popped in to Anthropologie to have a look around, and to take advantage of the sale.  This time we focused on housewares since I had gotten the pants I wanted last time.
I saw this tray, and the matching pitcher, while there, and I was struck by how beautiful it is.  It really is very pretty, especially in person.
And it's on sale. And for right now at least, the sale is on sale. : It is sold out online, but it is still available in some stores.  And at just $24, it is officially a steal!

Red, White, and Blue Favorites

The combination of red, white and blue in an outfit has always been a favorite--for fourth of July or any day.  It is just a happy, and crisp look.  I am looking for a little inspiration for outfits and I think I found it!

This combination with the romper and sandals is adorable and hits the right not of casual but put together.
I wouldn't have thought of the lace shorts and striped tee and floral tennis shoes myself but I love it.
This is a super glam take on the combination.

This is pretty much what I already do and I still love it.

What is your favorite way to wear red white and blue without looking like an American flag?
