A Girly Girl Moment

Lovely coat
I'm loving everything girly and pretty right now.  By everything I don't mean all over my home and in my closet, I just mean that I'm inspired to have a few spots in my house that remind me what fun it is to be a woman.  A bouquet of pink blooms on my dressing table, a floral oil painting on my desk and a few floral items in my closet are sure to banish the gloomy late winter days.  I would go as far as to add a watercolor floral drape in my bedroom or a pretty pattern on throw pillows.  Ok, maybe I need a bit more "pretty" than I originally thought!

Flat weave Frontier rug in black and white stripes really lets this hot pink wingback chair POP! (FT-295)

Zooey and Tommy Spring 2014

fashiongonerogue.com
When I got this month's Lucky magazine I was struck by the gorgeous Zooey Deschanel.  I have long loved her fearless style and I am so excited that she and designer Tommy Hilfiger have announced an upcoming collaborative capsule collection of 16 dresses sold in Macy's stores.  The dresses will have a mod and/ or nautical vibe consistent with Deschanel's love of vintage.  This all sounds great to me!  Oh, and the dresses will range from $96 to $199.  Even better.
What do you think?  Will you be running out to Macy's soon?

Minor Obsession: Burberry Spring 2014

Okay, okay, I know fall hasn't even officially begun yet, but can we take a minute to just gaze at Burberry's spring line?  Mint, lilac, beige, navy, polka dots, pencil skirts... Hello, gorgeous!
Burberry Prorsum Lace Trench
The lace detail on this trench is such a fun twist on a classic cut.

Burberry Prorsum Merino Wool Shell Coat
How gorgeous is this?! The blush coat reminds me of this post over on Navy & Orange.

Portrait Neckline Trench Coat
I may or may not have involuntarily made the "Mmmmmm" noise when I first saw this.  Mmmmm as in yummmmmm, I love this coat and think it is gorgeous perfection in trench coat form.

Dipped Collar Dress Coat
Okay, again with the yum.  The cut and color is gorgeous!
Hey, they might be from their spring 2014 line, but I feel totally justified in lusting after them now because they are coats, after all!
