Inspiration: Autumn Is On Its Way

via brookegiannetti
It is still 100 degrees here in the desert but that doesn't mean I can't start pondering the beauty of Autumn and cooler weather to come.  These are the things that are inspiring to me now.

I bought this nail polish and I love it.

I have hair envy.  Especially this time of year.

I love the rusty- orange bergere chairs as the focal point.
Sarah Richardson uses a variety of warm and jewel-tone shades in her accents.  Easily changed and perfect for the colder months.

I love a cozy, white room.  Fall doesn't require warm colors to feel warm.  Look at all the textures going on here.

What a great and easy way to celebrate the season.

I want to make this huge, beautiful berry wreath...

I adore white pumpkins.  Does that surprise you?
moss and deer antlers
I really like how unexpected this centerpiece is.
The first fall accent in my own home.  I can't wait for more!

It's Back, Baby!

Baby's breath seems to be making a comeback!  I ask you, was there ever a better name for a flower?  I think it is only effective on its own, I don't use it as filler with other flowers.  I am always looking for new things to put in my apothecary jars, and at $4 a bunch, baby's breath fits the bill.

I love it on the table in my sitting room, grouped together in the jars all lacy and sweet.
I can't decide if I like it better on my new dining room table though!
It is such a simple display-- not fussy, expensive or time- consuming to throw together.

Just put a little water in the bottom of the jar, stuff in the baby's breath after you cut the stems  and enjoy!  It couldn't be any easier and it makes me happy.
