The other day I was rearranging my seasonal displays through my house. I have this antler my dad gave me, but I think of it as a Fall item (don't ask me why). I took it out of the living room and just put it on my office desk so that I could decide if I wanted to store it or find it a new place in the house. That day I was wearing a cuff bracelet and when I sat down at my desk that evening I took it off and stuck it on one of the antler points, and voila! A new storage and display solution was born.
I am thinking I need a few more bangles, though I have never needed an excuse to buy more jewelry. This display seems to work best with cuff style bracelets as opposed to chain or beaded styles-they just stack better.
I love it!
I have so much jewelry (I started designing my own about a year ago) and I have it in bags and make-up boxes and it's literally all over the place!! This looks really cool; just goes to show with a little creativity what you can do!! I liked the idea you guys had with the cork boards for necklaces and bracelets. I just have to find a place for it!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Cyndee! Lori definitely inspired me with that cork board to start thinking outside the box in terms of jewelry storage and display. I am so glad you like this idea! Having too much jewelry is an enviable problem, I must say:)
