Dior Tribal Earrings

I find that (once again) I am late to a trend I actually love.  These Dior tribal earrings are a bit fantastic.  I say that as someone who doesn't often wear earrings.  Now, these might just be a passing fancy, but I'm going out on a limb and suggesting that these just might become classics.
@Who What Wear - Emma Watson Event: Golden Globes Watson had everyone doing a double take on the red carpet when she turned up in a Dior Haute Couture dress and pants combo, but for us, it was all about the single Dior Mise En Dior Tribal Earring ($410, 212.931.2950).

As much as I love these earrings I can't imagine paying $400 for them.  What a conundrum!
I will more than likely just admire them from a distance.

Just popping in to bring you the perfect black heels, and the perfect little pic of said heels, styled by Julia of Gal Meets Glam, who can pretty much do no wrong.
(Thanks for showing me these, Rebecca!)
I'm back in meetings for our conference all day, but I hope to enjoy some more of San Diego a little later.  Hope your week is going well!

Red, White, and Blue Favorites

The combination of red, white and blue in an outfit has always been a favorite--for fourth of July or any day.  It is just a happy, and crisp look.  I am looking for a little inspiration for outfits and I think I found it!

This combination with the romper and sandals is adorable and hits the right not of casual but put together.
I wouldn't have thought of the lace shorts and striped tee and floral tennis shoes myself but I love it.
This is a super glam take on the combination.

This is pretty much what I already do and I still love it.

What is your favorite way to wear red white and blue without looking like an American flag?

Always Inspired by: Gal Meets Glam

I'm positive that I'm preaching to the choir when I share that I am a fan of Julia Hengel's very chic blog Gal Meets Glam.  Julia is gorgeous, young and --shall I just say it-- far richer than I will ever be, but it isn't just these things that make her a successful blogger.  She embraces her shape and knows what she likes  and looks amazing in everything she puts together.  The photography is pretty fantastic too. It is refreshing for me to see a fashion blogger like Julia who isn't a size 0!  I myself am usually a size 6 and it's tough not to feel like a cow when you're an average size (for the fashion world, I mean) and love fashion.  Julia just has a sparkle about her and I'm positive she brightens any room she enters.  Here are a few of my favorite Spring looks she put together.

I lusting for this striped dress python heel combo here.
Strawberry equipment blouse and patent red loafers! Yes!
This look is so spot on for Spring.

Julia got the trend of the leopard shoe just right with this perfect outfit.

One thing I have been encouraged to try is a bold lip.  Julia reminds me that fashion is fun.

I am so excited that Spring break is just around the corner!  I have been gardening up a storm and now it's time to relax.  We will be headed to the beach next week and I can't wait.
