I'll Have A *Aqua Christmas

vintage holiday. #tistheseason #holidays

I'm very partial to blues and especially aqua blue.  I don't think there is anything prettier than aqua and gold with lots of white or even grey.  It is reminiscent of a winter wonderland with vintage appeal.

Haven't done this yet, exactly! Works nicely with Christmas Stockings or mini-wreaths too.

Aqua Christmas

Aqua Christmas by desertgirls featuring holiday decorations
I hope your week is ending well and that your Christmas or holiday preparations are coming along.  I am so pleased that I am down to the details with my shopping.
Snow has been forecast for this weekend!  This is such a rarity for us so we are really hoping it happens.
Cheers!

  1. So pretty–and just a bit beachy! We usually do a big gold and red theme–I can't help myself!

    1. This scheme definitely lends itself to a beachy look, but I like to use it with brown to make it more --I don't know- icy forest? It can look too cold without gold or something warm (in my opinion)

I love red and gold! Wish it went with my home.

  2. Love your inspiration pics--so pretty! This is such a nice alternative to all of the red and green. Not that there's anything wrong with a classic (of course!) but it's nice to see something different!
